It is also a good idea to check the water level of your car; a good water level can really help your battery go the distance. If the water level dips too low your battery won’t be able to hold a charge.
It is always best to check these things before you notice a problem with your battery, however it is always a good idea to keep a set of jump star cables in your trunk should a dead auto battery occur.
If a dead car battery does occur it is recommended to call a professional unless you know exactly what you are doing. This is important because serious injury can occur if you are not 100% sure what to do.
